Indy Audio Labs, owner of the high-performance audio brands Acurus and Aragon, is searching for a qualified candidate to fill the position of Purchasing Coordinator. This position is responsible for purchasing and maintaining a steady, uninterrupted flow of material in support of manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is able to think on their feet and can effectively solve problems within a fast-changing business environment.

Job Description/Key Responsibilities:

Tactical buying of off-the-shelf parts and custom assemblies (PCBs, metal, modules, packaging, etc.) according to production plans
Ensure high-quality material is available for manufacturing on time and within budget
Troubleshoot, diagnose, communicate, and resolve issues with suppliers
Track and report manufacturing material inventory metrics
Supporting daily operations of audio equipment manufacturer
Financial reconciliation of POs and Invoices related to material purchases
Assistance with account statements, accounts payable, and monthly reconciliation
Manage inventory changes against production and parts delivery schedule
Manage financial accounts and relationships with all material suppliers
Interface with manufacturing staff and CFO, CEO, CTO on issues (A/P, lead-times, EOL, ECNs, etc.)
Other duties as may be assigned

Required Education/Experience:

Associate’s degree or higher in a technical or business discipline
Experience with Quickbooks, MS-Office, and/or Google Suite software
Experience with technical purchasing in IT or consumer electronics a plus
Experience in accounting or finance a plus
Experience in manufacturing QC or QA a plus


Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Ability to be flexible, prioritize tasks, and maintain a sense of urgency for time-sensitive projects
A positive and proactive attitude and a willingness to jump in and help
Good technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Attitude is critical to success; must be a self-starter, resourceful, highly dependable
